In the past 2 Super Mario Galaxy games, we have seen many different suits. With a new game on the horizon, what new suits are going to be brought to the table?
Is it possible that Nintendo will bring back the Tanooki suit? Unfortunately, that will probably not be the case. Super Mario 3D Land revolves around that suit throughout the entire game, so I doubt Nintendo will double dip with two games in a row.
The ever-so-cute Frog suit could definitely be returning. It hasn’t been released in any other game besides Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES. This retirement might have been just what Nintendo wanted for a big re-release.
And let’s not forget the Penguin Suit. Introduced in Super Mario Bros Wii, this suit offers all the cuteness in the world. And not to mention the ability to freeze enemies to their death. With this Suit being a few games old, there is potential for it in Super Mario Galaxy 3.
Metal Mario is also a suit that has been “retired” for a number of games. Being wildly popular, this is a potential suit that we might end up seeing.
And finally the cape. A huge part of Super Mario Bros 3, and an awesome suit overall. It has been many many games since this amazing cape has been worn. Hopefully we will see it in the upcoming game.
